Celebrating 10th anniversary with my 5170 G.

Released during the "bigger is better" days ,the 5170 is a watch that was definitely ahead of its time. Nowadays the watch world would go crazy over a 39 x 11 mm chronograph with a strong reminiscence to the brand's glorious past !! I always liked this ve

Hi 👋 All, Thanks to member brandon.c alerting us to a pocket watch with a unique dial made by THE enamel Queen Anita Porchet, Anita was then kind enough to share us with some amazing information on this piece !

Since this piece was signed "A Porchet", this signature means that she worked on this dial all on her own. Around 5 to 10% of her atelier's yearly production bears such signature. With others signed "AP", those dials are worked on by her and her team unde

I was shown a Ref.5271/ 11p owned by a friend of mine. The actual blue sapphire was much deeper in color and attractive than the catalog photo.

The original 5270 is a leaf hand, but I prefer this shape type. Even the clasp is set with jewels, giving it a luxurious feel. We took a two-shot with 5539G (MR Tourbillon)

Midweek holiday!

Today is a public holiday in my home city. Grasped this opportunity to have a leisure walking at the Peak 🚶with my 12 years old 5712……. followed by a nice cup of hot chocolate and scones 😋

Did Patek ever consider releasing a Nautilus Tourbillon, in the same vein that AP has the Royal Oak Tourbillon and VC the Overseas Tourbillon ?

If not, why do you think that would be ? Would it not make sense to have an "über" version of their flagship sports watch ? Or do you reckon the (rather gorgeous) 5740 perpetual calendar model qualifies as such ? Keen to hear your opinions. Cheers, Pieter

I am curious to see how many of us have a ( or several ) Patek World Time watch(es ). Here is what I have: 5110P: And what I had: 5130G. Still not sure about the 5930G or 5935A... You? What do you have? Best, Nicolas
